Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert among first performers announced for the upcoming 55th ACM Awards
Country icons Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert will be performing at the 55th ACM Awards in Las Vegas on April 5.
The Academy Of Country Music announced the first set of performers for the upcoming music awards show, set to broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Keith, 52, will be pulling double duty that night as not just a performer, but the host of the show.

Keith has been nominated for Male Artist Of The Year, and Miranda has been nominated for Female Artist Of The Year, Album Of The Year for Wildcard, and Music Event Of The Year for Fooled Around In Fell In Love.
Miranda will also be performing Fooled Around and Fell In Love with fellow nominees Lindsay Ell, Caylee Hammack, Elle King, Ashley McBryde and Tenille Townes.
The press release announcing the news also takes into consideration the current coronavirus fears.

Miranda released her seventh studio album Wildcard on November 1, 2019, and headed on the Wildcard Tour in January.
The singer is the most awarded artist in ACM history, having taken home 32 awards.

Miranda is currently married to Brendan Mcloughlin, whom she married following last year a whirlwind romance.
Keith’s tenth studio album Graffiti U was released in 2018, and contained the singles Female and Coming Home.
Keith has received multiple ACM Awards over the years as well, most recently taking home Entertainer Of The Year in 2019.
The country star has been married to Nicole Kidman since 2006, and together they have daughters Sunday, 11, and Faith, nine.
