Beau Ryan reveals he was paid MORE than Angie Kent’s $200,000 to appear on Dancing with the Stars

Beau Ryan breaks his silence on claims he was paid NOTHING to appear on Dancing with the Stars – insisting he earned $250,000 after producers ‘begged’ him to join the show

Beau Ryan has set the record straight on rumours he was paid nothing to appear on Dancing with the Stars.

Speaking to KIIS 106.5’s Kyle and Jackie O Show on Tuesday, Beau, 34, insisted that he actually cashed in on the gig, earning upwards of $250, 000.

Beau made the revelation when he was asked to compare his earnings to that of co-star Angie Kent, who reportedly pocketed around $120,000.

‘I was last to go on and [producers] obviously begged me, and I think Angie signed on before me…. I think [Angie] got the most, and than I got more than her when I signed on last.’

‘So you’re saying you got paid more than $250 grand to do Dancing With The Stars?’ radio host Jackie asked.

‘I think so yeah,’ Beau replied.

Beau added that he earned the same amount hosting The Amazing Race Australia.

He also revealed that contestants on the dancing competition openly discussed their paychecks among themselves in the green room.

‘Of course, you walk in you say how much you get,’ he said.

Beau was rumoured to have earned nothing for his time on the show thanks to a report published by Woman’s Day magazine on Monday.

The magazine claimed Beau and his fellow contestant Ed Kavalee both earned nothing because already signed to Channel 10 on a ‘monster contract’ that covers multiple shows.

The pair are earning over $150,000 each for their ‘ongoing availability to the network’, the publication alleged.

However, given that Beau has told The Kyle And Jackie O Show he pocked $250, 000 for Dancing With The Stars, it’s likely his retainer would be worth much more.
