Katy Perry reveals her parents won’t kiss, hug or shake her hand while she is pregnant due to fears over coronavirus
Pop star Katy Perry is expecting her first child with Orlando Bloom.
And on Monday, the Wide Awake singer revealed that her parents were being extra careful around her amid the spread of coronavirus.
She told Hughesy & Ed that her mother and father were hesitant to make any physical contact with her during her pregnancy.

Health authorities have advised the public not to shake hands, hug or kiss in order to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
Katy told radio hosts Dave Hughes and Ed Kavalee that her parents had taken these recommendations very seriously.
‘My parents fist-bumped me the other day. I was like “What? Okay. I don’t know… cool.”‘

She added: ‘I came out of them and everything, but I was like, “Sure, yeah.” That’s what watching the news forever will do, I guess!’
Coronavirus has spread to more than 113,000 people globally. At least 3,900 people have died so far.
Elsewhere during the chat, the Teenage Dream singer claimed she didn’t know what gender her unborn child was yet, but said: ‘The universe will give me exactly what I need.’
