Phillip Schofield leaves Holly Willoughby stunned as he displays his VERY flexible physique after meeting a 100-year-old gymnast on This Morning

Phillip Schofield left his co-host Holly Willoughby stunned during Tuesday’s This Morning, as he displayed his flexible physique.

The presenter surprised viewers with his impressive moves as he managed to lift his leg over the top of his head with ease.

The moves also sparked a hugely positive reception from fans as they rushed to Twitter to praise Phil, after he and Holly had interviewed a 100-year-old gymnast.

At the start of the show, Phil and Holly delighted viewers by chatting to Marion Watson, who still seemed as flexible as a piece of elastic, despite being 100 years old.

Marion left Holly and Phil stunned as she displayed her amazing flexibility by lifting her leg over head.

Holly gushed: ‘I think that is so impressive. That’s just amazing! You are amazing. You’re like a human pretzel!’ 

After the interview, it seemed that Phil was also inspired to show off some of his best moves, and proceeded to lift his own leg over his head.

While chatting to consumer expert Alison Beer, Phil easily lift his leg, leading Holly to say in shock: ‘You’ve got everyone doing it that’s impressive!’ 

Phil managed to straighten himself with ease before resuming his hosting duties, sparking plenty of reaction from viewers on social media. 

One posted: ‘Phil is very flexible,’ along with a GIF that playfully reflected their delight, while another added: ‘I don’t think Holly believed Phil then.’

Another fan tweeted: ‘I know let’s just grab a flexible old woman from a nursing home and get her to stretch her legs for our opening segment #ThisMorning and then send her back #Genius.’ 

This week Holly and Phil were back to their usual presenting duties, after hosting the Dancing On Ice final at the weekend.

The dramatic finale saw Joe Swash crowned series champion with pro Alex Murphy, beating out bookies favourite Perri Kiely and Vanessa Bauer.
