It’s Holly I Will-oughby! Almost every gown the star wears on TV is a dress from a bridal designer, but must her husband think?

  • Holly Willoughby, 39, has shown a passion for dressing in wedding gowns
  • The This Morning and Dancing on Ice host never misses a chance to wear one
  • Her stylist Angie Smith sources them, some of which costs thousands of pounds

Ask any bride to name her number one regret about her wedding day, and she’s sure to answer: ‘It was all over far too quickly.’

Months — sometimes years — to prepare, the choosing, designing and fitting of the fairy-tale dress she’d dreamed about since she was a little girl then . . . click. It’s all over.

But for Holly Willoughby, it isn’t. The 39-year-old This Morning and Dancing On Ice host married her husband Dan Baldwin in 2007, wearing a beautiful, white, fitted gown she designed and had made by a friend. But she has rarely been out of a wedding dress since.

Red-carpets events, premieres, parties — she never passes an opportunity to play ‘dress up’ and step into a frothy white frock.

She’s aided in her bridalwear fetish by stylist Angie Smith, who has sourced some truly magnificent gowns, some of which cost many thousands of pounds.

Sunday night’s Dancing On Ice final was no exception, when the mother of three passed on the requisite ‘little black dress’ and went for a full meringue from bridal couturier Lee Petra Grebenau, which was covered in glitter and had sheer sleeves and a structured bodice.

Only the week before, for the show’s semi-final, Holly had stepped out in a sheer gold gown by couture bridal fashion designer Lihi Hod. The only things that were missing were a bouquet, a veil and a groom… Once a bride, always a bride.
