A thirsty giraffe appeared to be doing the splits in order to get a drink from a watering hole.
The adult male, which roams freely at Zimanga Nature Reserve in Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa, was spotted having a slurp at a man-made dam designed to blend into the environment.
Due to his long neck, the 15ft-tall giraffe had to awkwardly shuffle his front legs to lower his body enough to get close to the water source.
