Fans go wild over Prince Harry subtly matching the lining of his suit to Meghan Markle’s emerald dress at Commonwealth service – after a week of colour pairing

  • It perfectly complemented 38-year-old Meghan’s Emilia Wickstead caped dress
  • Eagle-eyed royal fans spotted the match and took to Twitter to praise the move

If men want to match with their dates, they’ll most likely pick a tie to complement her dress – yet Prince Harry proved he was a cut above the rest when coordinating with his wife’s outfit.

The Duke of Sussex, 35, sported a navy suit with emerald lining in his jacket yesterday, which perfectly accompanied 38-year-old Meghan’s Emilia Wickstead caped dress.

Eagle-eyed royal fans spotted the move and took to Twitter to applaud the father-of-one’s subtle coordination following the couple’s attendance at the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey.

One social media user said: ‘Just love that Harry’s coat lining matches the emerald green of Meghan’s dress’

Another added: ‘How cute! Did anyone else notice the lining of Prince Harry’s jacket matches Duchess Meghan’s coat!’, as a third wrote: ‘I dig that green lining in Harry’s suit matches her ensemble.’

‘They’ve been colour coordinating all week. Harry obviously couldn’t wear a green suit to the service today but he made sure the lining of his jacket still repped his team,’ a fourth person added.

It’s not the first time the royal couple have matched their ensembles. In fact, the duke and duchess have donned colour-coordinated outfits for each of their last three joint engagements in the UK.
