Kylie Jenner’s swanky Kylie Skin brand sells a $32 sunscreen oil.

But the cosmetics CEO traded her spendy SPF for a more wallet-friendly drugstore option during her recent vacation to Palm Springs, California.

Instead of plugging her own product, Kylie was caught spraying herself with a generous amount of Banana Boat sunscreen while reminding fans to protect their skin in the caption of a sexy bikini selfie.

While most people may have been focused on the 22-year-old beauty’s curves as she modeled a chic brown off the shoulder, some fans were distracted by what was in her hands.

Though the label wasn’t entirely clear, its orange and blue design made it all but certain she was using something by Banana Boat, a brand which retails for around $10.

People chimed in in the comments, with one follower writing: ‘Girl that ain’t no Kylie skin sunscreen.’

Jenner had an explanation though.

‘Ugh i’m out of town and my mom is a hater and doesn’t have any here,’ she joked.

Banana Boat Instagram account seemed flattered by the attention, sharing sun, sunglasses, and praying hand emojis in the comments. 

Interestingly, Kylie’s brand just teased the release of a new SPF 40 facial sunscreen to be released in time for summer.

A week ago, the star’s skincare Instagram shared a photo of one of her signature pink and white bottles.

‘Introducing your new best friend,’ the caption began before going on to describe the ‘weightless, invisible,’ ‘smooth and reside-free sunscreen. 

Sister Kendall Jenner had her mind on other things though, taking to the comments to tell Kylie: ‘No photo/creative direction cred is just rude.’

The youngest Kardashian/Jenner sister responded, saying ‘Let me live!!!!!!’
