Riverdale star KJ Apa is dapper in blue as he promotes his inspiring new romantic film I Still Believe on Live! With Kelly And Ryan

He’s the main star of a hit television show that has been renewed for a fifth season.

But Riverdale star KJ Apa was busy on Monday morning thanks to a different project — the inspiring new romantic musical film in which he stars, I Still Believe.

The actor, 22, was on hand in New York City for appearances on both Good Morning America and Live! With Kelly And Ryan to promote the film, which is based on the true story of Christian music singer Jeremy Camp and his first wife Melissa.

The New Zealand-born actor looked sharp in a navy blue trench coat that hung down past his knees, which he wore over a lighter blue striped shirt and matching dark blue slacks. 

KJ’s shirt featured a white stripe along with light and dark blue accents, and had a zipped collar.

His boots were steel grey.

I Still Believe costars actress Britt Robertson, of Tomorrowland, The Longest Ride and The Secret Circle.

Gary Sinise and musician Shania Twain appear in the movie as KJ’s character’s parents.

The film explores the relationship between a young up-and-coming Jeremy (Apa) and Melissa (Robertson) in the face of serious illness.

Camp, now 42, has gone on to produce 11 solo albums, and two live records.

He has been nominated for three American Music Awards, and was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2010.

KJ, meanwhile, is wrapping up season four of Riverdale as central character Archie Andrews, the finale of which is set to air on April 15.

I Still Believe hits U.S. theaters on March 13th.
