And Laura Dern was dressed to impress for a night out on Friday in Los Angeles with her favorite leading lady, mother Diane Ladd.

The 52-year-old actress bundled up in a chic denim coat as she grabbed a bite to eat with the Hollywood star.

Laura’s gorgeous denim coat dropped down past her knees and featured a host of golden buttons.

She added a pop of color with a bright red turtleneck and wore knee-high brown suede boots.

The Big Little Lies star carried a maroon leather purse across her forearm and carried matching glasses in her hand.
