Olly Murs has revealed his heartache over the death of his friend Caroline Flack stating ‘I never thought I’d never see her again’.
The singer, 35, appeared on Friday’s Loose Women where he opened up on his grief at the Love Island star’s passing.
In an emotional start to his interview, the Dear Darlin’ hitmaker told how much he ‘misses’ his pal and admitted it’s been ‘tough’ in recent weeks.

Caroline took her own life aged 40 at her flat in north-east last month.
As host Andrea McLean began the interview, she informed the audience that Olly wanted to discuss Caroline first before moving on to other topics.
After being asked how he felt since her death, he said: ‘It’s been tough. Even you saying them words… it doesn’t make sense to me.
‘I’m still coming to terms with it, it was a massive shock. The last couple of weeks… yeah, it’s so hard to talk about it.’

As The Voice UK judge became emotional, Andrea asked how he’s been coping since receiving the tragic news.
He said: ‘I’ve been seeing friends and family, I’ve been getting back to work, and keeping busy and talking about it.’
Olly continued: ‘It’s tough, I never thought I’d never see her again. I love her to bits and I miss her.’
Meanwhile, Olly discussed the heart-stopping moment he received the phone call during an interview with Chris Evans on his Evans Virgin Radio Breakfast Show on Monday.

The singer, 35, who was on holiday in Bali with girlfriend Amelia Tank at the time, explained that despite Caroline passing a few weeks ago, it ‘has not really definitively sunk in properly.’
He told Chris: ‘Even just talking about it, it just makes me, I just can’t get my head around it, to be honest.
‘I was in Bali, actually. I was on holiday with my girlfriend and family. So it was. Yeah, it wasn’t. I mean, I got the phone call about 2:30 in the morning, so I was actually asleep at the time.
‘And yeah, I just looked at my phone and just kind of in shock and to be honest it has not really definitively sunk in properly. You know, she was an amazing person and great. Yeah, just amazing in every way. Just a shame that it happened.’

Radio host Chris, 53, the told how people he’s interviewed had never had a bad word to say about the star and questioned Olly if there had ever been an ‘awkward’ moment on set between them.
‘No, I mean, just working me and Cass. Listen, you know, we had all we had our arguments and we had our fights like everyone does. You know, but it was fun.’
Commenting on how similar the former X Factor presenters were, Olly added: ‘We did. We had you know, we fought over different things. You say that line, I say that line. You know, she was just brilliant.
‘She was such a laugh. She was, you know, off camera we just had such a laugh. Go out, drink and have a good time. She was just the life and soul.’
