He plays the role of doting dad with ease.

And Bradley Cooper made sure to keep his little girl close as they strolled through New York City on Friday morning.

The 45-year-old actor bundled up in a black peacoat as he carried daughter Lea on his shoulders while walking through Manhattan.

The Academy Award-winner stayed warm underneath a heavy coat and wore a pair of grey sweatpants.

He laced up a pair of black and gold trainers to his feet and carried an adorable little brown lunch bag in his hand.

Bradley beat the bright sunlight with a pair of aviator shades and wore a Philadelphia Eagles championship hat.

Little Lea looked adorable in a long black jacket with matching tights as she sat on her dad’s shoulders.

The two-year-old kept her head warm with a matching black beanie which featured rainbow feathers.

Bradley split with Lea’s mother, Irina Shayk, in June after spending four years together.

‘I think in all good relationships you bring your best and your worst – it’s just the nature of a human being,’ she recently told British Vogue. ‘Two great people don’t have to make a good couple.’

Cooper’s heading back to the big screen to work alongside Rooney Mara and Cate Blanchett in the the Guillermo del Toro thriller, Nightmare Alley.

He’ll also lend his voice as Rocket the raccoon in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 which is due out in 2021.
