Michelle Keegan enjoys a rare date night with husband Mark Wright at the 2020 Global Awards… as she claims he takes longer than HER to get ready

Michelle Keegan enjoyed a rare date night with her husband Mark Wright at the star-studded Global Awards on Thursday.

The former Coronation Street star, 32, flaunted her toned abs in an orange bandeau top and a fuchsia pink suit as she joined her spouse, 33, in London’s Hammersmith Apollo.

Their appearance on the blue carpet came before Michelle poked fun at her husband Mark for taking longer than her to get ready for the awards show, joking that a majority of the time was taken up doing his hair.

Michelle appeared to be channelling the 1980s in her colourful pink suit, which consisted over an oversized blazer and matching flared trousers.

The actress teamed the two-piece with an orange bandeau top as she posed alongside Mark, who opted for a casual all-black look.

Michelle added to her statement look with matching orange eyeshadow as she supported her husband, who is a DJ on Heart FM.

Following their appearance on the blue carpet, Michelle was quick to poke fun at her husband Mark, as she claimed that he took even longer than her to get ready for the big night.

Speaking to Amanda Holden during the awards, Michelle was quick to respond: ‘Obviously Mark!’ when asked who takes the longest to get ready.

Taking the chance to touch Mark’s sleek head of hair, Amanda gushed: ‘ Can I feel the barnet? Oh my god! What is it? A bit of Elnette?’

Mark then insisted his hair was ‘absolutely au naturelle!’ while Michelle joked that her husband would ‘kill Amanda’ for touching his hair.

The actress insisted that no one was allowed to touch Mark’s hair, leading the presenter to hit back: ‘Why you lying? It takes two minutes to get ready!’
