Married At First Sight’s Seb Guilhaus was dubbed a ‘gentle giant’ by the relationship experts ahead of his wedding to Elizabeth Sobinoff on the show this week.
The 30-year-old became emotional while admitting he is often stereotyped by women due to his muscular physique, and has been single for eight years.
However, Daily Mail Australia can reveal that the former footy star hasn’t always been so shy, especially not during his first stint on reality TV several years ago.

In 2013, Seb appeared on Today Tonight’s first Adelaide Party Girls reality feature.
The program followed a group of women on the party scene in South Australia, with Seb explaining the lengths he goes to in order to impress them in nightclubs.
It featured footage of Seb working out in the gym, individually counting his abs and then receiving a spray tan before finally hitting the town.

‘Obviously you want to look good, especially if you’re heading out on the weekend. You want to have the guns pumping.’
In contrast, Seb appeared to be a completely different man as he made his debut on MAFS this week, having seemingly grown up quite a lot in the past seven years.

‘I get stereotyped for my size and the way I look quite a lot. People assume that I’m maybe going to talk on a more basic level, but in reality I’m sensitive,’ he said.
‘When I was young I was very awkward and geeky, I grew several inches in a year and was out of proportion. I used to call myself The Elephant Man.’
The show then featured a ‘goofy’ montage of Seb dancing and joking around.
He is ‘married’ to returning bride Elizabeth Sobinoff, with the pair believed to still be going strong and potentially now moving in together in Newcastle.
