The Hills: New Beginnings, a reboot of the original series that aired nine years prior, is set to start filming season two.
And Mischa Barton, who started in the first season of the spinoff, is not coming back to the reality series, according to TMZ.
The former OC actress, 34, was the only one not asked to return for season two because producers thought her story line was ‘a bit bland,’ and her personality ‘a little boring,’ the outlet reported.
Her replacement is her pal Hollywood socialite Caroline D’Amore, who is also close friends with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie.

Caroline, 35, also used to party with Paris ten years prior when she was besties with Kim Kardashian.
Mischa is the only star of the show not asked back, TMZ reported.
Caroline and Mischa are friends, as seen in Mischa’s birthday snaps from last year; the duo posed next to each other at the actress’ bash at West Hollywood’s Cleo Third Street.
They were joined by fellow Hills stars Audrina Patridge and Jason Wahler, as well as his wife Ashley.

Brody Jenner has signed on for season two with a new, more lucrative deal, around $50,000 per episode, the outlet revealed.
Caroline serves as the executive chef and co-owner of Los Angeles based restaurants D’Amore’s Pizza, which her parents founded (originally called D’Amore’s Pizza Connection).
Caroline founded a brand of sauces, called Pizza Girl; the organic, non GMO, ethically bottled and locally sourced sauces have three flavors Marinara, Puttanesca and Vodka sauces.

Carolina has dabbled in acting and has been featured in several music videos; she is also a DJ and hosted an EDM show called Heartbeatz on Dash Radio.
She produced the web series DJ Diaries with Caroline D’Amore.

The Hills: New Beginnings premiere in June 2019, nine years after the original show went off the air.
The reboot brought several familiar faces back on screen- but stars Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari did not sign on.
Audrina, Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Justin Brescia, Jason, Stephanie Pratt, Frankie Delgado and Brody signed on for the reboot.
Brandon Thomas Lee, the son of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, was a newcomer alongside Mischa.
The show’s renewal was announced in July 2019.
