Married At First Sight: Vanessa Romito begs fans to stop using her Instagram as a ‘dating app’

She left Married At First Sight last week after a tumultuous relationship with her ‘husband’ Chris Nicholls.  

On Tuesday, Vanessa Romito let her Instagram fans know she has moved on since filming late last year, and is happily in a relationship with new boyfriend James. 

The 31-year-old reality star went on to ask fans to ‘calm down’, after being inundated with date requests. 

‘When I say cool your jets, it means calm down guys,’ Vanessa said on Instagram stories. 

She added: ‘I’m not on here as like a dating app. I’ve got a boyfriend, I’m very happy. Thank you very much for reaching out but no, thank you.’

Vanessa’s blossoming new romance comes after she and ‘husband’ Chris Nicholls left the experiment.

Last week, viewers saw the pair argue over their lack of physical chemistry during lunch with their family and friends.

Chris said: ‘If you’re not getting what you want from it and I’m not getting what I want from it, then we’d be silly to hang out.’

With that, the youth worker then packed his bags and left the apartment for good.

‘I think I’m more disappointed in Chris not giving me his absolute attention,’ Vanessa told producers during the episode. 

‘The correct person would never make you feel like this… I don’t think beauty is skin deep, I think beauty goes so much further,’ she cried.
