Oprah Winfrey dons ice therapy sleeve on leg and insists she isn’t seriously injured after fall

Oprah Winfrey dons ice therapy sleeve on her leg as she insists to fans she isn’t seriously injured after stage fall in LA: ‘Only a little sore’

After taking a fall on Leap Day, Oprah Winfrey thanked fans for their support and revealed she isn’t seriously injured.

Winfrey, 66, shared a new photo on social media Sunday in which she’s wearing a Game Ready knee ice machine sleeve, while thanking fans for their support.

She had taken a very public spill on stage Saturday during the Los Angeles stop of her Oprah’s 2020 Vision: Your Life on Focus Tour, while, ironically, talking about balance.

The Game Ready knee ice machine cold and compression system retails for around $3K as it combines ice therapy with compression therapy in to aid in the recovery of sports injuries and post-op physical therapy.

Update: Oprah Winfrey, 66, revealed Sunday she wasn’t seriously hurt from a bad fall the day before as she shared a photo in which she’s wearing a Game Ready knee ice machine sleeve

Alongside the snap, Winfrey wrote: ‘Sunday Reading and icing. Thank you all for your kind wishes. Yes I slipped on stage and I’m now a meme.’

‘But so grateful to be only a little sore. Turning the day into what @michelleobama calls #selfcareSunday.’

The media titan was wearing a tan sweater and pants with her leg propped up with the Game Ready icing sleeve on over her pants.

Icing: 'Sunday Reading and icing. Thank you all for your kind wishes. Yes I slipped on stage and I’m now a meme,' Winfrey began

The media mogul also spoke about the fall while backstage after the Los Angeles event, with Gayle King.

King asked Oprah if she was thinking that it was ’embarrassing,’ or thinking, ‘I’m just gonna roll with it.’

‘I didn’t think (it was) embarrassing, I just thought, “OK, I fell. Everybody knows what falling is,’ Winfrey began.

‘You would prefer not to fall, but now I’ve fallen. My thing was, I’ve fallen and I can’t get up,’ Winfrey joked, referring to the famous Life Alert commercials from the late 1980s and early 1990s.

She also added in another video from her story that her tour stop in L.A. was, ‘a great day, despite the fall, which now becomes a meme, I know.’

‘But I picked myself up. I don’t know if it was something on the floor, or my foot twisted…. I had the indication I was going to fall before, and it just is what it is. It was a great day,’ she said.
