He has had his hands full lately promoting his upcoming film Trolls World Tour.

But Justin Timberlake took some well-earned time off on Sunday as he spent some quality time with his son Silas, four, at a cinema in Los Angeles.

The singer, 39, cut a casual figure for the outing, donning a black jumper with grey tracksuit bottoms and matching trainers.

Family: Justin Timberlake, 39, took some well-earned time off on Sunday as he spent some quality time with his son Silas, four, at a cinema in Los Angeles

Silas was dressed in a black hoodie and matching tracksuit bottoms as he held his father’s hand as they departed the movie theatre.

At one point, Justin appeared to chat to a group outside the cinema as he was spotted giving one woman a hug while her friends stood nearby.

Justin and his wife Jessica Biel welcomed Silas in April 2015, two and a half years after they tied the knot in October, 2012.

Back in November, Justin made headlines when he was seen holding hands and touching the knee of Wainwright during a night of partying in New Orleans.

The singer wasted little time addressing the drama after a video of the behavior surfaced.

In an Instagram post he wrote in part: ‘A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgment — but let me be clear — nothing happened between me and my co-star.’

He added: ‘I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better. This is not the example I want to set for my son.’

The former boybander then offered an apology to his wife and family ‘for putting them through such an embarrassing situation.’

Since the incident, the couple have been putting on a united front as they try to move forward, side-by-side.
