Alison Hammond shows off her TikTok skills on This Morning

She joined the TikTok’s social media platform a mere four days ago.

And Alison Hammond got This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield in on the action as they showcased their moves for a video, which she shared on Instagram.

Celebs Go Dating star Alison, 45, signed up to the video-sharing social network last week and already appeared to be hooked on the newest app as she got Holly and Phil dancing live on Monday’s show.

All three began by swaying from side-to-side before lifting their arms in the air then moving their hands behind their head while their hips dipped.

The trio looked like pros as they tackled the app’s ‘Ahi Challenge’ dance, which went viral on social platform TikTok in January after TikToker ROD shared it on his feed.

Captioning the fun video, Alison penned: ‘Welcome to my Tik Tok this is me @hollywilloughby @schofe smashing it, I don’t go for what is trending just what I like. #justforfun’ (sic).

Although she only joined four days ago, the Birmingham native has amassed over 31,500 followers on TikTok and will no doubt get a boost after enlisting the help of her This Morning colleagues.

Alison social media post comes days after she left This Morning viewers believing that they were hallucinating when they watched her interview a tree on Wednesday.

The presenter had fans at home in stitches when she was filmed chatting to a 1000-year-old oak tree in Liverpool, which has been nominated for European Tree Of The Year.

Hosts Holly and Phillip couldn’t contain their laughter as they watched poker-faced Alison quiz the sessile oak about its rich history via the medium of a tree whisperer.

Approaching the oak, Alison asks tree guru Holly Worton: ‘I’ve interviewed Hollywood superstars… but never a tree!

‘Do we need to touch the tree? Do I just ask the tree a question?’

Taking the responsibility very seriously, the bubbly presenter begins: ‘OK so here we go, for our exclusive interview.

‘First of all, you are up for this amazing, prestigious title. How does it feel to be nominated for European Tree Of The Year?’

Alison presses her ear closer to the trunk, a deadpan expression on her face as she pretends to listen for a response.

Speaking through the interpreter, the tree replies: ‘It feels very exciting, it’s an honour to be recognised in this way.’

Probed further, the tree says: ‘Well if people get out there and vote for me, they’re really good. This is a community and the more people that come to see me will come to see them as well.

‘All of the people standing here and all the people that have come, walking through this park.’

However, when asked the age of the tree, which viewers had been told was around 1000 years old, the interpreter appeared to have been caught out.

She said: ‘The tree does not measure time so the tree does not have an exact answer’.

Incredulous viewers couldn’t believe what they were seeing, with most finding the segment completely bonkers (in the best way possible).
