Harry Styles’ north London property empire is now worth £15 million after the One Direction star bought the £4million mansion next door to his £8-million semi.

The singer bought his first house in north London for £3 million aged just 18, turning it into a wild party pad fit with a bar named after himself.

Last year he bought the five-bedroom 18th-century semi across the road and has now paid £4.175 million for the house next door.

The property – that was not advertised on the open market – brings his north London empire to a whopping £15 million.

Harry is rumoured to be knocking the two properties together in significant renovation works estimated to cost almost £20 million.

Local agent Trevor Abrahmsohn told The Evening Standard: ‘He bought a Grade II listed property which once upon a time was a detached mansion and had bought the left-hand semi-detached house.

‘I think by buying the other half of the house he’s just completing the picture and presumably restoring the house to the mansion that it once was.’

Harry is said to be stepping up security after he was confronted by a mugger with a knife during a night out in north London on Valentine’s Day.

He is reported to have handed over cash in the terrifying ordeal.

Scotland Yard confirmed that the force is investigating a knifepoint robbery in the area.

A statement said: ‘Officers were contacted on Saturday February 15 regarding the incident which happened at 11.50pm on Friday February 14.

‘It was reported that a man in his 20s was approached by another man and threatened him with a knife.

‘The victim was not injured however, cash was taken from him.

‘No arrests and inquiries are ongoing.’

The mugging comes after a homeless man who stalked the singer avoided jail last year.

Harry had spotted Pablo Tarazaga-Orero, 26, sleeping rough in a bus stop outside his £3million London home in March 2019.

He offered him some food or a hotel room and eventually bought him some edamame beans from a vegan cafe on Tarazaga-Orero’s request.

But the Spanish national’s behaviour soon escalated and a three-month stalking campaign began, the Brit Award winner told the court.
