Gene Kelly’s widow Patricia was also in attendance as she unveiled a statue dedicated to her late husband in his 1952 film Singin’ in the Rain.

Paying homage to the film and Gene, Patricia replicated the look by wearing a burgundy tombola hat and clutched a black umbrella with a wooden handle.
