10 top posts across both Sussexes and Cambridges Instagram accounts ALL contain Harry and Meghan

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle feature in nine of the ten most popular posts across both the SussexRoyal and KensingtonRoyal Instagram accounts, it has emerged.

The Duke, 35, and Duchess of Sussex, 38, who run the SussexRoyal feed, are prominent in the most-liked photographs, not just their own account, but also Prince William and Kate Middleton’s platform, KensingtonRoyal.

There was one exception, reported the New York Times, and that was an adorable image of Prince George, 6, and Princess Charlotte, 4, in their school uniforms. 

The children of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge featured on KensingtonRoyal ahead of Charlotte’s first day at school in September 2019.

Here Femail reveals the ten most-liked pictures from both accounts.

It was posted on the SussexRoyal account on May 8, 2019, shortly after his birth, and features both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex alongside Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland. The family photo was liked a staggering 2,903,082 likes..

It featured the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland, Prince William and Kate, and Prince Harry and Meghan.

Poignantly, Prince Harry also invited his late mother’s sisters Lady Jane Fellowes and Lady Sarah McCorquodale to be in the family group photo.

It was one of the earliest glimpses of Archie before he was widely photographed in South Africa on his first official royal engagement meeting Archbishop Desmond Tutu with his parents.

It was a photo from their wedding day in May 2018, and was posted before the creation of Harry and Meghan’s separate Instagram account, when the two still shared a platform with William and Kate.

A whopping 2,392,696 people liked the image, which saw Meghan in her wedding dress lying against a suited Harry on the steps of Windsor Castle.

In the eighth spot, KensingtonRoyal made its way into the top ten posts again, with an adorable snap of Prince George and Princess Charlotte in their school uniforms. 

It was liked 2,130,163 times and marked the little girl’s first day at Thomas’s Battersea school in southwest London, alongside her big brother.

On January 21, 2020, the SussexRoyal account surpassed KensingtonRoyal’s follower lead – two weeks after the Sussexes announced their intention to step back from royal duties.

But on February 17, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge regained it’s follower lead and both accounts now have 11.2million.
