Those who don’t have a spare £77,700 ($100,000) to splash on a night’s stay in the world’s most expensive hotel suite can get a taste of the high life courtesy of a new video tour.

YouTuber Doug DeMuro leads viewers through the 9,000-square-foot Empathy Suite at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, which he excitedly describes as being ‘a two-story mansion in the sky’.

The sprawling complex features six unique works by British artist Damien Hirst.

Moving through the lofty space, hanging directly above the centre bar is Hirst’s Here for a Good Time, Not a Long Time (2018) piece, which consists of two vitrines, one containing a marlin skeleton, the other a taxidermy marlin.

But DeMuro says his ‘personal favourite art piece’ is located next to the dining table.

He explains: ‘It’s this wall of pills called “money”. As you can see, there’s just pills, and pills and more pills.

‘It’s rather a striking look, but it’s one that I find rather amusing and interesting.’

DeMuro reveals how the hospital theme continues with the 13-seat bar featuring a glass top with medical waste on show, from latex gloves to syringes.

‘These aren’t used medical supplies, to be clear,’ the tour guide notes.

Moving to the outside space, DeMuro exclaims ‘this is the coolest balcony I’ve ever seen’ as he wades into a pool hanging out over the hotel, facing out over the Vegas strip.

Columns next to the pool feature Hirst’s signature coloured dots.

‘It gives this area a more whimsical, cool more interesting touch,’ DeMuro says of the bright design.

Along with the artwork, Hirst also designed bespoke furniture for the suite, which is part of an ongoing £535million ($690million) ‘re-imagination’ of the Palms.

DeMuro ends his tour in the suite’s ‘own dedicated massage room’.

This is located in the bathroom off of the second bedroom.
