Facebook chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg has defended herself against claims she is a control freak obsessed with her public image She admitted she was a ‘tough boss’ during an interview for NBC reporter Dylan Byers’ podcast Byers Market Sandberg also spoke of her relationship with Zuckerberg, saying she wished people could see her boss and longtime friend the way she does 

The Facebook exec defended the company’s business model and said concerns about its data collection was based on a ‘lack of understanding’ 

Facebook’s Sheryl Sandberg says her boss Mark Zuckerberg is misunderstood as she defended herself against claims she is a control freak obsessed with her public image. 

Sandberg, who is Facebook’s chief operating officer, opened up on her relationship with her boss and longtime friend during a wide-ranging interview for NBC reporter Dylan Byers’ new podcast Byers Market.

She said she wished people could see Zuckerberg the way she does. 

‘Mark is an enormously, enormously talented guy. He has a great product sense… People think he doesn’t understand people. That’s just clearly wrong,’ she said.
