‘My boyfriend got me the most beautiful promise ring (it’s a human tooth) and even got down on one knee and presented it out of a wooden coffin.’

The pictures show the woman wearing the controversial piece of jewelry on the ring finger of her tattoo-covered left hand.

The ornately designed silver ring features two blue stones that flank the molar sticking straight up in the center. In the center of the tooth, there is a small stone or metal bar.

The morbid ring was made even creepier thanks to the box it came in.

The boyfriend put it in a wooden box carved into the shape of a coffin before giving it to her.

Many commenters from the group, which has more than 45,000 members, were appalled by the twisted piece of jewelry.

‘That is f*****g disgusting,’ one person wrote, while another added: ‘Dude, if there was a vomit react, I would be smashing it right now.’

‘Gagging at wearing someone else’s literal tooth on her hand,’ someone else agreed.

Others couldn’t resist pointing out that it wasn’t even an engagement ring.

‘This isn’t even a proposal, it’s a promise ring — Sis is really going to wear that nasty a** tooth on her finger and not even be able to call it an engagement ring,’ one Facebook user commented.

‘I hope that it was at least his tooth,’ another said of the boyfriend’s bizarre gift.

The majority of commenters thought the ring was ‘sick’ and ‘disgusting,’ but others bravely admitted to liking it.

‘I’m a grotesque chick, I could get behind this —but I’m not wild about the setting,’ one person explained.

‘I didn’t know I wanted this until now!’ another gushed.
