Traveller is roasted for ‘selfishly’ taking up two seats at the airport – without sitting on them

Traveller is roasted for her ‘unbelievably selfish’ move at the airport – so do you think she’s in the wrong?

  • A traveller has been roasted for taking up two seats at a busy airport lounge
  • The anonymous woman is lying in front of the empty seats instead of sitting
  • This isn’t the first time an airline passenger has been shamed online
  • Other instances include when someone draped their hair over the back of a seat

A traveller has been roasted online for taking up two seats at a busy departure lounge, despite the fact that she isn’t sitting on them.

A photo of the anonymous woman was shared on the Instagram page Travel Creeps, where people were quick to slam the ‘selfish’ act.

The photo shows the woman lying right in front of two empty seats where other passengers could be sitting.

‘Becky, 24-year-old “influencer” takes a moment to reflect and enjoy the stares she’s getting from her followers by selfishly taking up two seats – anonymous,’ the accompanying post reads.

Many were quick to share their disdain underneath the post.

One person wrote: ‘There is so much wrong with this picture.’

Is the traveller in the wrong?

Others added that she is ‘taking up two seats without actually using either’, and they would be ‘using Becky as a foot rest’.

‘Two seats AND she got her feet occupying common space needed to navigate between the different seating rows,’ one person wrote.

‘I can only hope someone CRANKS her ankle with a heavy and or sharp carry-on trying to walk by her attention-seeking display.’

Flight attendants reveals the extent of dirty floors on planes

Flight attendants have previously revealed how filthy the floors can really get.

‘Flight attendants have seen everything from vomit to blood to spilt food hit that carpet,’ cabin crew Linda Ferguson said.

‘We see people walking from their seats into the bathrooms all the time barefoot and we cringe because those floors are full of germs.’

Another flight attendant previously urged airline passengers to never walk into the toilet bare feet.

‘I promise you, nine times out of 10, that is not water on the floor,’ she said.

‘The toilets are often absolutely disgusting and get deep cleaned only at the end of a route.

‘For us, this could be from one side of the world to the other… imagine how lovely they are at the end of a 12-hour flight with 200 people using them.’

This isn’t the first time passengers have called out fellow travellers online.

Last year, an airline passenger was shamed for sleeping on the floor of a plane – while her male travel companion took up three seats.

The pair were spotted in a picture, taken by a fellow flyer, after it emerged showing the woman seeking a bed on the floor in between two rows of seats.

Many were outraged about the man not offering his seats to the woman, while other flyers were ‘disgusted’ over the ‘dirty’ things they have seen hit the carpet.

Other passenger shaming incidents include an airline passenger who was shamed for ‘rudely’ hanging her blonde hair over the back of her seat and blocking the entire screen of the person behind them.

An Australian man, known only as David, shared a picture of the female passenger on Facebook, revealing how she had her hair flicked back over the headrest while watching an in-flight movie.
