Over 500 other movies and more than 7,500 TV show episodes will be added.

The Netflix rival will also feature Disney movies and TV shows including classics like Snow White and Bambi, modern live action including Toy Story 4, Aladdin and The Lion King. Exclusive Disney Plus Originals such as the live action Lady and the Tramp, Togo and the Disney+ Original documentary One Day at Disney will also be available to watch.

What is happening to DisneyLife?

Disney have confirmed that DisneyLife will become Disney+ in March 2020. Current DisneyLife users will be invited to transition their subscription to a Disney Plus account.

Is there a Disney Plus app?

The Disney+ app will be available on Android and Apple, plus video game consoles PS4 and Xbox One. You may also be able to get Disney+ on the Nintendo Switch in your web browser. Download onto your smartphone to watch on the go, anytime and anywhere.

If you want to access Disney+ straight through your TV, you’ll need to check with your manufacturer about dedicated Disney Plus functionality. If your TV isn’t going to include this feature, you could always invest in a Chromecast or similar gadget.

Samsung smart TVs operating with the Tizen OS have a dedicated Disney+ app ready to launch, so you can start streaming Baby Yoda straight away, and other manufacturers will be offering similar apps.

Will Disney Plus be available on Sky Q?

There may be a deal between Disney and Sky to integrate the new streaming into Sky Q, rather than a rival to it. This would allow Sky Q users to access the Disney+ content similarly to how they watch Netflix.

Will Frozen 2 be on Disney Plus?

Elsa, Anna and Olaf’s second movie Frozen 2 is not on Disney Plus yet and it will probably be a little while for it to be released on the video-on-demand streaming service. In the meantime you’ll have to watch the first movie to get your Frozen fix.
