Konnie Huq has revealed she hasn’t bought clothes for a decade.

The Blue Peter host, 44, appeared on Loose Women on Wednesday where she discussed her timeless looks and insisted she ‘doesn’t need’ to buy clothes as she is the same size as when she was 18.

During her appearance on the show, fans were left in awe of the star’s ageless good looks, with many claiming she ‘hasn’t changed at all’ since first gracing screens on Blue Peter in 1997 before hanging up her presenting shoes on the show in 2008.

Speaking about her clothes and reluctance to buy anything new, Konnie said: ‘I am still the same size since I was 18 years old. The thing is, when you are on TV, often you get clothes bought for you so I don’t need them.’

She went on: ‘I haven’t stopped growing. I’m still the same size I was when I was 18 years old. That means I’m tiny!…

‘Basically when you’re on something like Blue Peter you get clothes bought for you so I don’t need them. I do the thing of mending and making do.’

In the midst of her appearance, fans took to Twitter to laud her appearance, with fans saying: ‘Konnie Huq is hot!…  Bloody hell Konnie Huq hasn’t aged at all… How on earth does @Konnie_Huq look exactly the same!!’

Her appearance on the show comes after Konnie shared a photo of her son using a ‘iPad viewer’ he created from a cardboard box, joking that it was like a ‘disturbing Black Mirror Blue Peter crossover’.

Taking to Twitter, the presenter wrote: ‘My five-year-old has just made a hands-free iPad viewer out of an empty box. Disturbing Blue Peter/Black Mirror crossover.’

Alongside the tweet, she posted a picture of her son Huxley, lying on a wooden floor with his head inside a cardboard Amazon box, which he’d presumably cut a hole in.

Earlier this year, Konnie’s husband paid tribute to the TV star and their two sons, revealing his whirlwind romance with her as he said becoming a parent changed him for the better.

The talented writer told BBC 4’s Desert Island Discs that marrying Konnie in a Las Vegas ceremony after just nine months was ‘the best decision’ he had ever made.

The pair also share Covey, seven, and wed in 2010.

Of the loved-up pair’s marriage Charlie said: ‘That was absolutely the right time. It was weird because, for years, I’d not known if I’d wanted kids or a family, that seemed like something that other people did, I couldn’t perceive of that as a future.

‘And then Konnie came along and quite early on she said “I want kids and a family” and this sort of thing, and I heard myself going “OK”, and sort of thought, “oh, right, why have I said that?” It was the best decision I ever made.’
